Maybe there were mentions of Gaby in regional newspapers, I know there was publicity in swiss newspapers (they announced that Gaby & Martina were gonna play an exhibition in Halle the 5th of June). The fact you don't find anything online doesn't mean there was nothing in the german newspapers !!! When there is an event like that somewhere, you won't find publicity in every single country of the world

Bill, I think we should be happy to have the opportunity to see Gaby play even if she isn't the pro player she was a few years ago ! I totally agree with "from California" and Rula, I always said that an exhibition is just for fun not for the score ! You don't pay your ticket 400 Euros either so you're there to see old players, people you like to watch playing tennis, people you can't see very often because they did retire for years ! No matter who win or loose, no matter the score, the goal of that kind of event is to have fun (that has been the case for Martina and Gaby as well !) ! If you're bored to see Gaby play, maybe you should not go to see her exhibitions because I don't think she will improve her game now, she did retire almost 10 years ago and tennis isn't her life any more (she gave enough to that sport during 20 years of her life, now she's free to take it as simple game, just for fun !). If she wants to do it to help some charities, it's nice of her and, if she can do promotion for her own products at the same time, it's even better ! Business is business... Germany is the country which likes her the most, she's very famous there that's why she does promote her products there most of the time. She isn't very successful in Switzerland for example so she won't waste money and time to promote her products nor to take part of events if nobody wants her there ! It's very logical

I haven't seen that match yet but I heard it has been a very funny game, both players had fun and that's all I excepted of that match ! We should be happy to have what we have, I mean to have news of Gaby every now and then because, one day, she might disappear completely of the media and live her life quietly in Argentina...
