It's actually "new" T-55A. Not rebuilt T-54, or something. All JNA (PL-made) vehicles were new-built.
Polish T-55A/AD just have square air-cleaner hatch, like in T-54, that's why they were confused with T-54.
And there's no thing such as T-55LD - simply, Poland in 1965 has 1258
T-54A/AM, about 400 were sold to Arab countries in 60/70's, the rest were rebuild and called T-55U.
Early T-55 (without AA MG) were modernised to T-55A standard, and called T-55M.
In 1986 PL operated 1295 T-55U/M.
