I need to replace a bunch of our company phones and almost went with the iPhone

but I soon changed my mind.

We currently have Treos but we are going to switch to the AT&T 'TilT'.

Even though we go with the unlimited everything plans, I still like to have wi-fi capability for when I am in a wi-fi zone. My international Skype calls are then totally free (to other Skype users).
iPhone has no wi-fi.

I also sometimes use my phone as a modem so that I can access the web on my laptop. I don't pay the extra AT&T fees for this because I use a utility called PDANet. This is also not possible on the iPhone.

Another issue is being able to switch-out the battery...not possible with the iPhone.

If you really love the user-interface of the iPhone, you can buy 3rd party utilities to emulate this with the 'Tilt'.
