I bought one of the crappy cast ones...

...when they first came out in ~1980. It worked, but barely. A friend had the one for two M1 carbines. The new ones of the same design appear to be machined and are probably better.

Illegal in CA since it's basically a double "mutiburst trigger activator" (as the DOJ calls it).
