I see that Ric is gone...but it was nice to feature him

On these forums we go through many phases and changes. I pity the man who is not moved or affected by the postings of the myriad of personalities here. I get labeled a lost soul for having changed my views over the last ten years and I don't agree...but that's fine. I've been in heated discussions with men like Rick Douglas and, in retrospect, those arguements were very unproductive to me, to him, and everyone that had to suffer through them.

My real feelings are that people like Ric, (and there are many others here like him) have contributed to my welfare and peace of mind, my freedom and security to such a degree that I really don't feel comfortable in pursuing a debate which may result in saying things hurtfull to him.

It was nice to see Ric featured. If it were possible to display a pic all of our current military and past members of the armed services each week I'd be proud to see them. They are worth so much more than they will ever know...
