the house really gives good scale. i had no idea that they got that large. for some reason i thought they were smaller trees.
excellent that the gov. protected them, they do, earn their keep every ONCE in awhile.
florida protected their live oaks. it's really neat to go into a supermarket parking lot and park under a live oak that's 60'-70' tall w/ a diameter of a good 8'-10'+. anywhere else and it'd be gone.
to say i'm a tree hugger would be an understatement. i'm w/ jefferson, cutting down trees like that should be tantamount to murder.
