1) Bose wave radio. has alarm clock feature, and will blow a rob sized hole through the wall.

2) Big Ben alarm clock. The 6" chrome one with 2 bells and a hammer on top. NOTHING can sleep through that. Downside ? The ticking will take some time to get used to.
