I have high cholesterol (212-213 in there somewhere) and my LDL is low (low 40s). I exercise at least 3 times a week - aerobic and weights. I'm 6'4" and weigh 225 lbs. I could lose 10 pounds I suppose, mostly in the middle but hey, I'm 53. If you saw a picture of me you'd think, there's a tall guy in reasonably good shape for his age. My point is, while diet and exercise can help, they are only responsible for about 20% of your numbers, the rest is heredity. Sure, you could watch every spec that enters your mouth and work out 8 hours a day and get your body fat down to next to nothing and lower your numbers some more, but lets also be realistic.
Moderate exercise, a diet high in fiber, low in fat and I hate to say this, limit alcohol. I can do 2 out of 3 pretty well. I have trouble with the last one, especially beer. It is my achillies and I suspect might be yours as well Robby. Moderate.
