just wanted to let you guys know which camera I decided on...

the Nikon coolpix p510.Thanks for all the advice you guys offered,this 400.00 camera is unbelieveable.It has a 1000mm zoom lense,but thats not all,after you take a picture like say of a rabbit,you can then zoom the picture up,My daughter Brittany (11yrs old)whom I purchased the camera for and I were filming wildlife,ruby throated humming birds,house wrens,rabbits,chipmunks,squirrels,purple martins,and the coopers hawk that is nesting in our backyard which has some pretty big babies already.My daughter took a picture of a rabbit,and you can zoom it so large that all you get in the picture is it`s eye.This camera is so awesome and it gives Brittany a sense of responsble ownership and pride having a hobby like this which is priceless.Thanks again for all the great advice.
