ankle surgery

Just got home from the VA hospital. Had to have reconstructive surgery on my ankle. It was a major operation, my ligaments had been torn for so long my body had absorbed them. The Dr. Used ligaments from a cadaver. This will be a looong recovery. No weight on my left foot for 8 weeks. And it will be painful.

My advise is that, if you sprain your ankle. Get it dealt with immediately, don't put it off.

Atleast I have some good pain meds and I probably wont remember making this post.
