Hey, Didn't You Razz me About the Soul and Motown Music I Posted?

Just kidding, man. That's OK. My skin isn't that thin. No one else said they liked it either.

But, I'll respond to this one. First, the quote got me to laughing. I'd never heard it before. He beat George Carlin to the punch on that one.

Next, Chet Baker is a unique gem too-few are familiar with or care-about if they do know who he is. I'd guess the former. His instrumental work is golden, of course. But, the album Chet Baker Sings is one of my very favorites. He was a great vocalist, plus he has lots of instrumentals in there, too. He spent all those last years without any teeth back in the day when that could happen to a person too-easily. Today they'd give you implants or something so your mouth didn't show the lack of teeth. And, yet, he could play the trumpet without teeth (??). He was quite an artist and quite a character.

And, Chuck, have you noticed a missing presence who won't be disagreeing with either of us about this or correct the heck out of me for something that isn't even wrong?? I really didn't disagree with several of his preferences, but the situation made it difficult to voice a musical opinion at times. I better post this stuff while I still can!
