cabela's had a little sale and i got a champion with the package came with wheels. now it's 3500w and only 115v. what it does have is scads of good reviews of toughness and very low fuel consumption. i just use it for the fridge and freezers when the power fizzes.
i was going to buy a yamaha, they are pricey but slick, and glad i went with the champion. it's way noisier than a honda/yama but within bounds. it was a bit over three hundred at the sale price delivered. easy start, low fuel, very thing they say is true.
what it has going for it is being a chinese knock off of a honda. there is chinese stuff that is questionable, and chinese stuff that is priceless. this little piece of chinese i am very happy with and for the minimal or moderate use it will ever get. it's important, i freeze vegetables to get through the winter months and don't want to lose them. i'm glad to have resolved the issue without having to get soaked. the wife is happy enough and she is noise sensitive.
if you look at generators quickly you will be attracted right away to generac. they are very popular. word is they are nightmares with service and good luck pal buy another one. i always pick the higher buck route too figuring pay now and get better and don't be penny wise. in this case by simply taking scads of time and doing extensive reading i was able to skirt some mine fields. in this entire mine field there are a few units both lower and higher buck worth buying.
