One of the kids got on the computer and "Re-arranged" my outlook. I looked in my deleted outlook folder and in my wastebasket (NADA), so they must have permanently deleted them (on the 4th of July). I am running Windows XP. Any chance I can roll-back? I've never done that before and not sure if it would find my emails anyway.

When data is deleted it is not erased from the HD, it is tagged to be unreadable by any stock windose applications in the operating system and ready to be written over.
So that has happened and there may be no free programs to find those outlook email file extensions.
I can't remember the name of the file extension but a google search will tell you and they are stored deep in subfolders of subfolders in your user profile in documents and settings.

System restore won't bring back stuff thats been deleted unless it's running in memory or has a timed executable like a talented virus... it will only remove programs or program updates that have been intalled within the interval you are rolling back to, and restore your configuration as it was on that system restore date.

I've accidentally deleted outlook folders because they were highlighted when I thought only an email was selected when I hit delete. I think it's a mistake from microsoft that deleted outlook folders don't go to the recycle bin or a second stage recycle bin folder.
