OK,

What does the yf, yfot & yc mean next to different posters names?

I saw the explanation for nt in another thread = no trades, but it also appears out of nowhere on some replies "Sorry...it's fixed now nt" for example from "Keith in West Virgina"

Might be good if there were a "sticky" post that explained this for inquiring minds like me.

I think that I have figured out that yfot is for yellow forum off topic, yf is just yellow forum - all airguns discussion and yc is yellow chinese for discussion of chinese air rifles. nt as explained elsewhere is usually for no text meaning no text in the message beyond the subject heading.

I like the explanition you had but it does not seem to follow real world examples. I am tending to lean toward the thought it's a hierarchy of how long/how many posts people have made. That is used in other forums but usually with less obfuscated terms.

nt=No text

nt means that all the information is provided in the title. There is no additional information available by clicking on the title. So, as an example, I should have posted: nt=No text (nt)
Blll.
