First the good news:
Each group is 5 shots from a bag at 20 yards. Top row is factory open sights. Bottom row is an age-appropriate Lyman Super Target Spot scope.
All ammo is pretty good, but the nod clearly goes to that Eley Target .22 ammo with the help of a 10x scope. To be honest....the targets in open sights are freaking small!
Now the meh news: I had light strikes on most of the early shooting. They eventually went away, but I didn't like it. I hope that the bolt is just gummy. I am soaking it in kerosene now. Will shake it off and run through a degreasing process before lightly oiling again. To be on the safe side I have ordered parts to completely rebuild the springs and pins and striker. Thank heavens for Numrich!
Obviously the barrel is superb, and all groups were shot from the magazine so there is no shaving problem (which I used to get with my Kimber).
NOTE: The target sheet was shot from the other side. I always show the white side since we are looking at group size and not score. The coin in the middle is a dime.
