Hope all turns out well in the end. Getting old kind of sucks....for me...don't know your age. Seems the older you get the longer it takes to heal.
I always had strong ankles as a youth. Been walking/jogging for 4 months now, but my Achilles tendons are still bothering me big time. It isn't my lack of breath holding me back, but my ankles tiring really fast. You would think by now my body would be use to the regimen.
Whenever I first get up in the morning or after setting for a half hour or longer, I look kind of like John Wayne walking in his high heeled cowboy boots.
You did what my parents always did. Waited to see a doctor until it became necessary to be hospitalized. They always said they couldn't afford to see a doctor or miss a few hours of work. Wonder how they made out not only missing several days of work, but having to pay hospital stays on top of doctor bills. As a teenager, I made up my mind to get any ailments taken care of immediately.
Best of luck to you. Hope the healing goes better than anticipated.
