oh man. just ripped a good chunk of flesh off my thumb

It didnt hurt bad till i rinsed it, then i said to myself" **** this isnt good".. being a former nys EMT i kept a cool head., but i have a lurking suspicion im gonna be getting stiches tomorrow.. pics soon.

then no pain right? Duct tape some paper towel around it  and keep it dry for a couple days.

Tried to remove a long aluminum stringer off the lathe before the chuck came to a stop....bad Idea...got caught in the spinning chuck an bout took the tip of my trigger finger off. Aluminum does not break off into little chips, they end up as long spiral razor blades, you don't want to mess with them.

Used some antibacterial wash that was labled "no sting". They lied.

Keeping a typical bandage on a finger that gets soaked with cutting fluid is impossible, so yes, use superglue. I guarantee you it will sting, and it wont last forever, but it will hold it shut.
