I just watched the first Batman (1989 Tim Burton) again. It is Beginnign to show its age a little bit as far as the sfx go. But the story and visuals are excellent. jack Nisholson was priceless.
I still think Batman Begins is a better movie though. It has better sfx, and just overall seems a bit more realistic. Whereas Burton's rendition is cool, Batman himself seems to be a bit cartoonish or a little unbelievable. Christian Bale's version of the charcacter seemed like he could actually exist somewhere.
