I, as well as the rest of my family, are natives to lands that coincide with the 'classic kingdom of Macedon'.
Please explain to me why I may refer to a relative in Kastoria as a blood relative, but he is Macedonian & I am not (in your eyes anyway)? We both FEEL Macedonian.
I think, therefor I am.
But I digress, to you, blood & DNA have nothing to do with ethnicity.
