i just got the postcard, and remember that day at school when DiPaola came on the speakers and said about how the family died and that things in the school among the rest of us needed to change now. i think its great that these guys are making this movie, and i know many of my friends from back then that i still talk to agree it should be made.

gary, i was sorry to hear your dad died, but he would want this movie to be made, he would support it. i don't knoiw how many people were on the comittee when you posted your message, but when i look at it now, i count at least 100 on it, many are from the 70's. i noticed bruce cnoway's name on it, wasn't he a member of the woody lake police dept? that's great that they are reaching out to cops, i'm sure they would have asked your dad gary, so i think you sjhould just lighten up.

hey bob h, you seem to be blasting this thing as well, so how come you signed up to be on the comittee? seems to me that all those not wanting this movie to get made will only be far outnumbered by those who do.

i mean, one of the guys from the movie company, his father was a teacher at hills in the 70's, a respected one too. i really think they will try their best to get it right! good luck starline, remember that people told Columbus the world was flat once upon a time, stick to your guys.

Don't ever question the relationship between a father and his son!

Forget this movie, please.

This will not be a great movie. Don't even attempt to make it and dredge up the se bad memories! Why recreate something that everybody already knows what happened? I went through school with Harry since elementary school and yes he was picked on. We all were to some extent. If you think the harassment was bad for Harry in Montvale it was only worse at the Citadel. This comes down to a father pushing his son probably beyond his capabilities. His father should have seen it or maybe he denied it. But in the end Harry pushed back to the extreme. So please, don't waste the people of Montvale's time and anybody else who wants to participate in this production to relive that Thanksgiving weekend in '76. We know what happened so let it rest.
