They were both great teachers!

Beyea committed suicide about 6 mths after her baby had died from what I hear was SIDS. Her husband came home in Old Tappan and found her dead.

I don't know what Mrs. Steir is up to. Though Mrs. DeCaro and I go to the same dentist. She is now retired and travels a lot with her husband.

I'm happy for Mrs. Decaro. I hope she has a good life. She was a
wonderful teacher.

If it was AIDS it was one of the first cases early on when no one knew what it was in the viral days of the late 70's that gave us Toxic Shock Syndrome (affecting women), Legionaires Disease (elderly)...you connect the dots.

That's horrible about the Beyea suicide, but certainly understandable.
