Having never left the sidelines since 1972 (as a Volunteer and Little League coach)there are very few things I have witnessed that were as moving as the special service form Roy Mac. It was a tribute long overdue. We, the ones that knew him, know his spirit has always been embedded in the work ethic that has empowered CHS football and sports since his passing. The plaque is almost haunting as it looks you directly in the eyes from any angle. The remodeling of the Field House needed a finishing touch and this was IT.
The job Mike did was super-human because it made it all seem like it was just last week.
