I'm a earlybird today...

by Bev (no login)

Man, I must be getting old. Up way too early this morning. It's 655am. I think I'll go to 830am church today.

I talked to Norma Yates Beare and Teresa Adkins Robinson this week. I called them to let them know Jerry & I are moving back to Clintwood. Norma had read it on this board. Teresa doesn't have a 'puter!

Norma & I talk about 2 times a year and the same with Teresa.

Norma has 2 children; Jessica is 27 and Matthew is 14. She also has 2 granddaughters.

Teresa has 1 daughter, Andrea. I think she's 30. She's also blessed Teresa and Jim with 2 granddchildren.

Janet Moore wrote me an email around Christmas time. She has a new baby granddaughter.

Glad you are moving back to the mountains. You will be closer to home so you can keep Andrea and Sherry. They can be trouble at times. Ha. Love you all.

Heavens no....

by Bev (no login)

Surely I won't have that responsibility! I had it years ago and failed miserably! I'll just take 'em to church with me. Yea, that's what I'll do.

Get that choir a singin' real loud! I like some purty music. Do you need a soloist? I can sing 'She'll Be Comin' Around the Mountain." Do you think that would be appropriate?

Big News....

by Bev (no login)

Jerry & I are moving back to Clintwood!!! Be there around Feb. 10. Taking over the laundromat/arcade etc. I'm taking my job as a travel agent with me.

I can hardly believe it. I've been gone for 31 years!

It's scary and exciting at the same time.

Let's keep it going

by Doug Sut (no login)

I haven't been on here for a while (you recall I was pretty quiet), but I'm always checking in. I have a lot of fun keeping up with everybody, and I want to work my schedule to make it up to one of those dinners I see discussed from time to time. Between this and the Dickenson Star I stay plugged in up there. Let's keep it going - thanks for getting it up and running -

Sut (Nobody else but you all know me by that name. I've dusted it off for you.)

Sneezing???

by Bev (no login)

I took a sneezing fit today. It must have been all that dust off 'SUT' out of Charlotte.

I talked to Chic Fu for about 30 mins. today. He's doing great. His son Ryan is working for Gov. Warner in Washington. Isn't that exciting?

Nikki's wedding

by Bev (no login)

She's changed her wedding date to April 22. I'd love for all of you to come. I know that's not possible but I can hope. It'll be here in NC at our home church.
