Mcgarrah's in Tallapossa County Alabama

My g-g-g-g grandfather, William McGarrah, died in Tallapossa County, Alabama. I am not sure of the date of his death but I have copies of court papers related to his estate that are dated 1847. After he died there was a dispute over the ownership of the land the family owned. In one of the court papers it states “… Mary McGarrah, wife and relic of said deceased now the wife of Augustine Rowell, Nancy, wife of Dolphin Davis of the State of Mississippi…”. The court papers also list his children as Leroy and Mintey (not sure of the spelling of this name). This would mean that William McGarrah’s widow’s name would have been Mary Rowell after she re-married.
