My grandfather, Walter S. McGarrah lived in Americus for years. He died about 1969. Children: Robert Walker McGarrah, Sr (died 2002- my father; Kathleen (Kitty)McCall (still living in Americus and possessing a lot of geneology info about the family); James E. McGarrah (living near Las Vegas); William McGarrah (died in the 50s); Scott McGarrah (died in the 50); Sarah Chambliss (died in the 90s); Elizabeth ?? (died 2002).
