Perhaps Common Ancestors?

My Great-grandmother was Sallie Emily McGarrah who was the daughter of Samuel McGarrah and Edna Ross. Sallie E. McGarrah was born 27, Nov. 1860 and died 30 Oct. 1908 of Brights disease.They lived in Americus, Ga.and Sallie E. was married in her Fathers home on 20 Dec. 1881. Her father was known by then as Captian McGarrah. I have been told through family tradition that Captian Samuel McGarrah owned a quarry of either granite or some other stone in the Americus area.
He was also in business with another man of the Americus area. I do not know his name at this time but think I can fine out.
