McGarrahs of SC/GA/AR/TX

Paula, I may be able to help you some on this line of McGarrahs. Please let me know specifics of what you need and I will see if I can help you.

The first McGarrah I have in my line was granted 350 acres of land in SC by King George III in 1775. He was William Sr. from Ireland (as best as I know). His sons were; William Jr., Col. George, Moses, John, Bernard, and James. There are possibly more that I do not have. Col. George and his son William left SC for TN and stayed there for a time before moving on to MO. From MO they went to AR, Fayetteville. Twin sons, born in TN in 1804, went on to Collin Co., TX. Moses and some of the other sons went to GA.

I descend as follows: William Sr. > Moses > James > Martha/Peter Fleming Ragan (my g grandparents).
