McGarr

My wife Deirdre (nee McGarr) from Naas Co Kildare in Ireland,is the daughter of Pat McGarr.

Pat in the late 1950s formed an Irish family -music band.He toured extensively '60s-early '70s professionally and cut many LPs and a video in the 80s.

His name is well known throughout Ireland. His touring mainly drew him to the Celtic areas of Ireland/Britain bringing his distinctive brand of Ceili music which has its own unique dance formats.Before his professional era ended Pat had the privelege of performing in the Royal Albert Hall In London and Carnegie Hall in New York.
