The Kurds in the North have massive oil reserves under their feet and so do the SHIA in the South. Both saw little benefit from oil during Saddam's Sunni dictatorship. The Sunnis in the center are the ones who will get shorted when the partition becomes official. What happens to Islamic states without massive oil wealth? Well they generally become the most backwards hellholes on Earth. Too bad Sunnistan! You shouldn't have oppressed those Shias and Kurds like you did!
