Buffett's Berkshire increases stake in Burlington
Berkshire Hathaway now owns 14.8 percent, or 52.13 million shares of railroad company Burlington Northern.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Berkshire Hathaway Inc., the Warren Buffett investment conglomerate, bought more than 10 million shares of railroad company Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. since Thursday, increasing its stake to 14.8 percent, according to regulatory filings.
The company bought 4.32 million shares Thursday, 2.44 million shares Friday and 3.32 million shares Monday, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The purchases bring Berkshire's (Charts, Fortune 500) stake in Burlington Northern (Charts, Fortune 500) to a total of 52.13 million shares.
Burlington Northern's stock was gaining more than 2 percent in after-hours trading on the New York Stock Exchange Monday.
