While I do agree with your lvl up point distribution, as i said in my previous post, i feel that you *might* have some facts wrong.

Sure STR is important, to wear better armour and to wield better weapons, but like i said in my previous post, the highest STR requirement for any item that you will find is 35 for a Claymore. In my experience i have never found Mail, or any other higher STR requiring weapon in lvl 1-2, let alone lvls 3 and 4. Due to this, I normally put my first 5 lvl up points into STR and then proceed to MAX DEX at lvl 10.

About the first purchase, a Small Shield AC=8 costs 90 gp, this is the best shield you will find for a while. If you don't spend your beginning money on better armour or weapons, what do you actually spend it on? Obviously, buying two Healing Potions is useless as they are very abundant in the first couple of lvls, i end up often having to sell excess potions.
