If you are feeling that way, joining a channel just to keep up "social" ties would be the least of your worries.
Not only that, if you have to deal with idiots like Fin, with his self-righteous stance on hacks, (although it is his opinion, so I must respect that, no matter how much I disagree with it) constantly chastising and berating you for listing a great collection of links to every Diablo resource you could imagine, you would lose a
bit of motivation.
