Response to Two questions

Just wondering, what is YOUR definition of a trainer? What is needed in a program to call it a trainer? What can be included to not call it a trainer

Well, my definition of "trainer" (just in the context we're using it here, natch): a program whose main purpose is to read from and / or write to (i.e. modify) the program and / or data segments of another program (specifically a computer game).

Would simply naming a program trainer be enough?

Well - then I'd expect that it matches the definition of "trainer" of whoever named the program in question a "trainer"! However, if somebody would insist on calling Notepad a trainer then I'd prolly just call him / her nuts...

First of, Stalker have as far as I know, never made a mod

First of, I never claimed that.

And I don't care if he did or not, either.

However, as far as Charlie and Stalker are concerned: one of them referred to the other as "best buddy" on his site.

Finally, it was Stalker who named his site "Cheater's Paradise".

But of course you'd have to argue with Stalker if he is allowed to make the statement I quoted or not.

Oh, and last but not least: show me a "mod maker" who claims that his "mod" is not a hack - and I'll show you a self-delusional hypocrite.
(BTW: ppl who admitted that "mods" are hacks include Charlie, Khan, Rand'al, Varaya, ... - I got plenty of quotes to prove that if you don't believe it)

Now let me ask you a question: do you consider "mods" to be hacks?

Finally, what people consider legit or not is totaly irrelevant and if I post something I will not start to add notes that some people consider it legit or not. The word legit is thus hardly a proper word.

LOL!!! Are you really trying to say that "legit" is not a "proper word" just because you don't use it in notes??? Get a grip!

My main purpose of this post was actually to ask you what a "tariner" is to you, though as mentioned above.

As mentioned above:
my definition of "trainer" (just in the context we're using it here, natch): a program whose main purpose is to read from and / or write to (i.e. modify) the program and / or data segments of another program (specifically a computer game).
