About a week and a 1/2 ago, an elderly lady Margaret in our church, who is like 93 fell. Margaret is a big time prayer person in our church. The dr.'s did an x-ray and said she had broken her hip. The dr.'s wanted to do a surgery on her to help heal the break easier. So they performed several tests on Margaret to see if her heart would be able to hold up to the surgery. During this time people have been praying for Margaret. During this past week a group had gathered to pray and specifically were asking God to heal Margarets hip. Margaret was in the hospital asleep with her daughter sitting there reading to herself. Her daughter reported that Margaret began talking in her sleep. Margaret does this sometimes. Her talking started with something like this.. may God bless this bountiful food. Pretty soon the talking moved towards praising God. Margaret began to wake up STILL praising God. Her daughter began praising God with her. The dr's reported back to Margaret saying that her heart would not hold up to a surgery so the hip would heal slowly. They did another X-ray... and then did like 4 more. Finally one of the dr.s came back and told Margaret that her hip is NOT broken!!! They have released Margaret into a rehabilitation room because when she fell, she had also strained her back.
I am wondering if everyone forgot to pray for her back an that's why it wasn't healed too... (I know I only knew that her hip was injured.)
