Gene, have you read the "talent" thread? Your gourd art is incredibly exquisite, and the one you gave me is one of my prized examples of first class-art from a friend.
Brent, I started on the sunflower painting twice and couldn't finish it. There aren't any sunflowers out here and I have a very particular feeling about sunflowers. I need to get around some and take some pictures, not find a picture on the internet or in a magazine. The feeling isn't the same to me. I'll do something else for you. Only once in a blue blue moon does a commission strike me right. I like to do something that is in my own head. Trust me, it will suit you.
