Does CHA offer 1,000,000 per member coverage? My folks not so long ago had a bill over 300k. My understanding is that CHA is a max 50k, which is not much in today's world. With this you get quite a bit more coverage for what I recall isn't so very different of a premium amount, especially for a family. From what I recall, Medi-Share utilizes the same program as larger insurance companies do resulting in quite a bit less payout than the full bill. As a result, premiums vs coverage is much more realistic. But then, how should I know Just a suggestion for those that may be able to use it...

Actually,I think CHA is at 25,000 for max payout but someone correct me if I'm wrong. The premiums are high in comparison. You can put away that much every month and it wouldn't take too long to get to 25. In fairness, when we had it,we happened to have some hospital bills that were under 25k and they paid 80% after the 750 deductible which really helped considering we would have had the whole amount otherwise. But if you have a major bill, you are toast. Then it turns into a general church offering thing or some have a secondary insurance which gets pretty pricey, also.
