Something more to add to your prayer list

My brother's stepson (about 18 yr old) is dying of cancer. He had been hoping to spend his last months travelling to Europe and Mexico but things turned for the worse the last few days and it looks like that won't be possible, but then, God can perform miracles. He could even heal him totally.

**And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.**

God and God only knows. Our hearts go out to your family. One of our sons best friends spent his winter doing chemo, He too is 18. It look like he is healed, but not only that, God has intervened and healed his mother of years of mental illness. They have had a double blessing. Mark reported to us that Lana will be okay. but Lamar and Cody and Shelley are gone.
Who can know the mind of God.
There are so many questions we could ask.
Why can't this boy get his wish to see the world before his goes? Why must those families go on thru life without their loved ones? Why can some have theirs for years to come?
We were given a prayer request this weekend. there is a 6 yr old in a nearby community that was an active little first grader, last week they found out he has a congenital heart condition that has sent him into congestive heart failure and he is now in Cleveland clinic awaiting a heart transplant. But for him to have it, someone else has to die and another family must also suffer.
Do you think that God will someday answer these questions for us? Or in Heaven will it not matter any more?

Love and prayers, Locklady

Some Day we will Understand.

June 3 2008, 9:05 AM

Until we are gone there will be somethings we do not understand. At least that is what I kling to. My first wife was only 19 when she went on to meet her reward. Now that I have grown children for that to happen is still unthinkable. I have to think of Joh 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
(KJV) I also think of 3 children killed instantly crossing the road, No one had ever seen them on the road before, Yet the niegbor children several miles down the road had often been out there seeing if they could interupt the trafic?? I do know that canceer can often be found more prevelant where chimicals are used or lack of nutrition but to find out why God takes one and not another is something that one will never know here. God left me here for a purpose and I want to do my best to fill that.

When I asked for prayers, this young man was given a few days to a week to live. He soon started getting better and continued his plans to travel, but he was taken from us Friday night/Sat. morning. Please pray for the family at this time.

**And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.**

Tirone, thanks for the update. Sorry for the loss, and please pass our condolences to your brother. Likely, the last time I saw him could be 25-35 years ago.

If you come out west, give me a call.
