Scott's taken a couple digs at the KJV again lately, and I want to keep the thing honest so no one gets a free ride the artifice of scholarism. If there's a error in the version, it was made honest by its judgment. The KJV judges and does not weaken the reality and hardship in human life. For this reason it does not deceive, and keeps the word sober. It will not take a unrefined person and make him weaker yet with words interpreted and arranged to make them easier to accept and more agreeable to the flesh. That would be a hindrance against the coming Kingdom where justice and all things are going to be made right.
They're going to make a version yet that won't be able to judge the tip of your little finger, just hide and watch. And the scholars and those that judge God and hold his feet to the fire will tout it up.
Let me make something clear before the self righteous on this forum accuse me of hopping up and down, preaching with my fingers, wide eyed, and slinging a Bible around in the air not being able to wait for holy judgment to come on the world. I don't wish it on anyone, and pray all the time that God will keep it from me and my family and friends as long as possible. But it wouldn't matter how I believed or prayed or what Bible I read or how I live or have live or will live, judgment will come upon every person no matter what, and I don't think this judgment will hardly be able to be distinguished between the appearance of the most evil and the appearance of the most assumed righteous. Because the Bible says something to the effect, good will be called evil and evil will be called good. Paul and Jesus were both called "evil doers"! But that was written in the KJV.
