ESP anyone?

We have been hitting the trenches pretty hard on religion lately so how about a change of pace?
Do any of you have ESP? (Extra Sensory Perception) I think I do, anyway at times.

Like awhile back I was driving at night and this thought came to me that there was a deer in the road just up ahead so I slowed down and sure enough, a half a mile ahead there was a deer standing right next to the road.

Last week I was running late for an appointment in our Capital city so I was speeding(gasp) a little and I had this thought that a highway patrol was approaching me on the westbound of the four lane highway and looking ahead I could see him coming. Do those qualify as ESP?

Or could be the Holy Spirit warning you of danger and advising you to slow down!

GM, just make sure to send me an invitation for when they stone you as a witch.

Gm, things like that happen to me all the time.

But I "felt" the highway patrol coming a few months ago, but my reaction time is fading with old age, he saw me slow down, he couldn't fix the radar on me though but he pulled me over (but didn't 'give" me a ticket)

I was like "I started to slow down and then I saw you officer!"

That could all be Mark but this kind of stuff happens to me very regularly, like sensing there is an accident up ahead or someone is meeting me coming around a blind corner and I am slowed down expecting him and then there is somebody.
Peter, I don't think you would want to watch that, and besides I would just grab Mutther's JC Penneys broom and fly away with the after burners on!

GM, lol. Actually I believe that some people are gifted with esp, second sight, discernment, sixth vision, or whatever you choose to call it. Cherish the gift and use it well. (I have experienced this at times as well)

I like Marks explanation. One time at work, a fellow worker was late comming in from break. I felt the Holy Spirit tell me where she was and that she was in trouble. I asked my boss if I could go find her and she said yes. I went to where I thought she would be, sure enough she was walking back to the back door. I asked her if she was okay, and she said no. I caught her as she passed out and preventing her from hitting her head on a cement block. She had been vomiting blood in her car. (The car looked like a war field of blood.) It was touch and go for about a week with her but PTL she made it. Actually there were more miracles I could share about her, but suffice for now. calledoutPTL

MR calledoutPTL says: ESP is a spiritual expereince which could be good or evil. Spiritual doesn't always mean Godliness. Remember Paul rebuking the woman who kept saying "Listen to this man, He is of God!". She took the focus off of the message of God to herself. This woman was anhored to a spiritual realm, but not of God. Paul was anchored to the heavenly realm which is of God. There is only one way to the soul and that is through the mind. Most of the battles we go through happens is in the mind/thought process. calledoutPTL

GM Man,
Yes, I have this as well. I sure do like it when it
will tell me a police car is near! This happens more when I travel though.
I also see things that most people don't. When my dad passed away in the hospital room, I seen out of the corner of my eye, this very BRIGHT GOLD flash of light. Just for barely a second and then it was gone. Most peeps I talked to thought it was just a thing I seen out of the corner of my eye. I know better. I firmly believe I saw a bit of Heaven there. Because I have not seen that color of Gold no matter what gold color I look at. For some reason, the color is just not the right shade that I saw.
I have seen aparations and things like that too. Though I have not seen things like that for quite awhile, I have read that aparations come to those that are open and free. Hummmmmmmmm......gotta wonder!

Nurse4261, nice to see you posting. I have not extensively studied ESP but I know there can be a dark side to it but I don't think that is what we are all experiencing. Maybe it should rather be called intuition.
That is kind of amazing what you seen in your dad's hospital room and I would tend to agree with you.

Yes, when you get into the apparition world it can get kind of scary. I have never experienced any of that but I too believe that you have to have an open mind to that type of thing and I also believe it falls into Satan's realm.

How are you and the family and Mom doing? I hope okay.

GM, if what you said about aparations being in Satan's realm, then a person wouldn't be able to see angels, and some people do. There are ministering angels that are sometimes seen. But I do agree that it can be in Satan's realm also. Again I repeat, if you know the Shepherds voice, you will know when it isn't from Him. But just because it feels funny or scarey, doesn't mean it isn't from God. Look at Moses and the burning bush. He was standing on Holy ground. calledoutPTL
