I heard a rumor about a truck strike next month, but have no way to confirm.

We go to the store for supplies about once a week, certainly not once a month or a year.

Our family lifestyle depends on weekly groceries and power for the freezer. Certainly not a healthy lifestyle in an anarchy type political environment as is apparently fast approaching us.

So how is it for you? How well will you fare if the power gets turned off, and the store isles are empty?

Fred, for the truck strike to work, they will have to get Consoledated, Yellow Freight, ABF and other cross-country haulers involved. The independent truckers won't stick together well enough to make it effective.
The thing for the truckers to do is stop the fuel haulers, that would create some havoc.
