Would someone care to discuss this from both sides?

I have found myself bound in from speaking my heart at times because people come out of the wood work to kick back unless I cross the t and dot the i just right (so to speak).

I have noticed several h's speak to this issue too, so maybe someone wants to discuss it?

Maybe this part of my problem. I wasn't raised H. So I dont got the lingo down like most XH expect me to. Don't know, I dont have the finesse that TR and XP have. Wish I did sometimes.

Fred, perhaps you could make a better effort at crossing your t's and dotting your i's.

was having a discussion with our youth pastor (raised Beachy-amish)yesterday and he made a comment that I think can be aptly applied here. He said that being a christian that recognises that Grace living in christian love allows us to recognise that we can walk side by side with our brother and realise that we may not agree with every thing he believes but that it is okay to live in the recognition that conflict is normal and it does not mean that either one is not a christian.

I think that too often we are getting stuck on they don't agree with me and I don't agree with them(whoever they are) and so we cannot fellowship together because we have some THING we don't agree with. and let's get right down to the brass tacks here, Folks. many of the disagreements are over things and differences in personality and how we percieve things than whether or not it is truly a God issue.

Love and prayers, Locklady

i agree with LL - a lot is a difference in personality and it doesn't come from a right or wrong issue, just differences in the angle it is seen from.
Remember: love covers a multitude of sins, or maybe just accepting who we are and rejoicing in the differences!!!
