Just how will the Kingdom function? In the last few days many people have voiced plans to provide direction for everyone. And everyone wants a vote in which direction we will go. This has not fared well for believers. When the grass gets short and people choose their way... Or, one sees a choice position next to the leader... Or, the people assembled together get to vote on who to release... We have come to demand our vote. Even in the assembly in our Lords day was divided. Not everyone made it into the inner court. And although voices were heard, all did not get to vote to fill the position to restore the twelve. And yet today ones vote is there. The assembly is at a standstill unless all who want to vote get the chance. For the tenth dries up. But is this biblical assembly? Remember in the seventies? Even if you did not vote for him, many did because he was "one of us". He was a farmer, even if he was just a peanut farmer. How well did that work out? And here we are again... But, the kingdom does not provide for the peoples vote. How will we adjust? For the King will rule! There will be no vote. If our assemblies here on earth are to become more like Him, more like the Kingdom. Where do we go from here? Many will find it difficult to release their right to vote. (Now right here is found how much of the world has creeped into the church. For the flesh screams for it's rights. "Choose this day whom...") And with good cause, for many who gained under a voting assembly have proven to take the choice ground, to divide the rights within the assembly, and seen to it who they let join them in leadership.
