There are a number of us on this board that are doing pretty good. We have a community here and I feel like we should pull together and collect a love offering for Locklady and her husband.
Let's see if we can collect $2000 for them. I think a gift of $100 would be nice amount.
Post or email or contract me directly at bobmutch@gmail.com so you can be sent the postal address or PayPal address so you can send your gift. If you want to let me know what you given so I can keep track would be great. Some have expressed there willingness to give more to reach the targeted amount. I will post where we are at currently at later.
[I got suggestions from different ones via email and have changed this post. I apologize for naming Fred and challenging him to give. That was out of order and I apologize. While my motive may have been good my method was wrong. Sorry!]
Here is what Locklady is dealing with:

I send an email to Locklady and asked her the best way to send it to her. As soon as a get a respond I will email out the best way to each of you. I have suggest that a direct deposit and if her bank is not in your area sending a check by post. It may be a bit hard for Lock to accept the money so I will handle providing details to each person. So just post your email with your pledge and as soon as I hear back from Lock I will forward the information to the email each person posts. I would be wonderful if we could raise more than $1000. It looks like we should be able to raise $2000.

Looks like they have a PayPal account. I send them some money on it already. I am just emailed Lock to make sure that it is there account because there came up a name I didn't recognize. As soon as I get email from from Lock I will email you all with the PayPal account if you want to pay that way.

I guess you all want to see me cry some more. I did not post what I did for a pity party or to be a beggar or whatever, but to show that even in the midst of extreme difficulty that it is possible to have God give you peace and joy and a reason to go on. Why? because simply this, it is possible to have peace in the midst of great storms. I tend to be a more relational, emotional, artistic kind of person and more open with life and my expression of it. Some folks take offence at that, But I had to live life hiding who I was too long and now I suppose I seem to go overboard the other way. But I do know this, that it is very possible to find things to laugh about while you are crying inside, and those things are often the things that have allowed me to be a survivor of great sorrows, pain and hurts. Because there are rainbows and silver linings in clouds.
And God does bless even when we think all is lost.

I have been helped when I was in a few tight spots, and I know how uplifting it can be to have people who care. Mr and Mrs Lock....I have felt some of your pain and frustration off and on over the last few years and if a 100 dollars from me can help then I will gladly give it.

Qwerty, locklady is our patron saint, and well worth every bit of help we can give her.
One thing about the approach though that you have taken to "give" is the factor of "pulling".
And shame if we don't give, I would rather next time you or anyone else "feels" to take an offering that you first set up the email for paypal, and then state you feel "led" to give and name an amount if you want to, but not ask for pledges but "give as you feel led".
Pledges aren't fun if you need diapers or tires but also want to be a part.
SO with that in mind, I would like to close the pledging part down, and ask you to post the paypal email, so we can directly "give" if we feel led but not put anymore twist on our people to need to state they are going to give.

I emailed Fred and give him my views on pledge format and I suggest to him that him and I discuss that via email. I would like to see this thread stay free from discussion on the format of giving. If you have opinions you want to express to me on that you can email me. I will be continuing on with the current format.
I personally would like to see $2000 raised and some have expressed they are willing to give more to see that happen.

From what I can see we are still at $1275 so we are $725 short.
I know of one person that is willing to help top it up but I was going to wait to see what came in from Lock. So if any one else is wanting to help top it up just contact me via email if you prefer not to not post here.
