I am alive and well, thank you. 9:45am yesterday morning my van decided to have a mind of its own and go straight on a snowy road instead of around the curve. instead it went straight into a guard rail where it was devested of the right front corner bumper, head light, mushed fender into said right wheel, messed up wheel, shoved fender so door no longer opens then stripped down that guard rail, the full length of the van so as to groove the tail lights yet. then bounced me across the street, thankfully no cars coming the other way, and then back to the right side of the road where it came blissfully to a stop.
No idea how many thousand $ later, I am driving a ford taurus rental car instead of my tan caravan, until said high minded vehicle is put to rights again.
Aside from the automatically aquired sore muscles, which did not show evidence till about 2:30 pm, I am perfectly fine.
Take said van to auto clinic to diagnose and evaluate possible cognitive failure. Prescription may include new computer module as well as new steering fluid and steering mechanism lubricant. As for said driver..well I don't know. Check brain for possible mind-wandering capabilities and examine arm and and hand movement.(just having fun,LL!)
Seriously Locklady, I'm sure sorry that had to happen yet. What's next? I hope you get it fixed soon and back on the road again.

Psycologist diagnosis: Spend as many days as possible in next month, resting, sewing and reading my Bible.
and it all started when I slept thru the alarm for 45 minutes because I was laying on my right ear and am more deaf in the left one. then there was that dumb white slippery stuff that looks so pretty thru the windows.
