had some time to write today.
cults:
nearly everyone on this planet lives in a cult, some are just larger than others. some cults are called holdemans some cults drink kool-aid and some cults trample people to get into walmart. what is generally considered a normal society in the western world, is really a cult. it just happens to be the biggest one. try to see what happens to a person that drops out of this cult, they are avoided just like the holdemans avoid the x's. ever see a bum on the street downtown and then watch the shoppers cut a wide swath around him. humans are programmed to live in cults, its natural. its just for many of us, including myself, have chosen to live in the most popular one.
homosexuality:
humans or not binary, we are not simply gay or not gay. but society (aka. worlds biggest cult) has evolved such that it forces people into either one of the two states. lets just say for a moment that the total number of all of the possible impulses and emotions of a human being is, 100. each one of these exists in every human on the planet, just like we all have lungs, brain and heart. due then to genetics and conditioning; over time each one of the 100 items gets attenuated or amplified and in each person to a different degree. if homosexual urges was one of the 100 items, it will in each person exist to a varying degree. just like anger, stubborness, kindness, appetite, faith, etc. exist to varying degrees in all people. there are people who have had homosexual relations who have had no homosexual urges and there are people who have very strong homosexual urges who have never followed through. everybody on the face of this planet has homosexual urges, all to varying degrees. there is no such thing as you have them or you don't. but society (aka. worlds biggest cult) has taken this one paricular human condition and forced every individual to make a choice and this is being perpetuated by both the gays and the straights.
religion:
religion exists for two reasons; it provides answers to the insatiable human question that every single person has regarding the meaning of life and secondly it provides a mechanism for the strong to control the weak. thats it.
