I found this list on a news article. Just wondering what anyof this has to do with creating an actual money flow or in reality putting people in viable jobs.LL

I figured out how to pay for the economic stimulus plan: investigate every democrat for tax evasion and make them pay up = billions? Isn't it ironic that the very ones that want to tax the rich are rich themselves but don't pay their own taxes....

They may well be crooks, but it is like animal farm, all men are equal, but some are more equal than others.
Sort of ironic, that the law makers find the labor laws so onerous that they have to cheat?
There is principle here, and that is you simply cannot rule over an honest man, but if you want to rule over a man, you must use blackmail, by getting him do do something illegal, and thus make him think he is getting away with crookedness.
It is no different than the H does, with all it's rules that are absolutely impossible to keep, the preachers simply "hint" at a trouble maker and the victim pees himself and submits, rather than needing to go to the back room for the spiritual rape the preachers perform on their victims as they "probe" for covered sin, which they know is there because it is impossible to not "sin" in that hell hole if the conference is authority.
(um, this how idolatry works, serving a created being such as the conference instead of the creator)
I think the government ought to make the law such, that what those law makers did is not illegal, but make it that way for everyone.
But no! Instead they make onerous laws that few can keep, neither afford, and then they can control the people that cheat, which is almost everyone.
I don't mean to go off here, but that is why the income tax is evil, for it makes honest people dishonest, and it forces workers to lose the unalienable right to the fruit of their labor.
It makes hiring people to be so completely derelict of common sense and so completely expensive, and with all the insurance, bonding, and payroll withholding it is almost stupid, and laughable that they can't figure out why our economy is in shambles.
(shaking my head in disgust, biting my lip, as I take my blood pressure medicine)
The Borowitz report fits with your observation. I thought it was pretty funny, but it is sadly kind of true...
Obama Considers Tax on Cabinet
Would Create Budget Surplus, Experts Believe
President Barack Obama is mulling a controversial new tax program that would require members of his Cabinet to pay taxes owed under the Federal tax code, the White House confirmed today.
While the unorthodox tax proposal is reportedly "only in the planning stages," it is being eyed as a possible way to balance the Federal budget.
"According to projections, if members of the Cabinet actually paid their taxes, we could wind up with a budget surplus in excess of $18.2 billion," said Obama economic adviser Paul Volcker.
Mr. Volcker said he strongly favored the plan, but added, "Fortunately for me, I'm not officially in the Cabinet."
But imposing taxes on Cabinet members may be easier said than done, critics of the plan warn.
"Remember, these people are not used to paying taxes," said one White House source. "They are going to be hopping mad about this."
Another wrinkle in the plan is how the taxes would actually be collected, with President Obama reportedly favoring a cash-at-the-door entry fee for every Cabinet meeting.
"If they don't have the money, they don't get in," said the source. "They're not going to be able to just sail into the White House for free like the Jonas Brothers."
When told of Mr. Obama's plan to make his Cabinet members pay taxes, Fmr. Sen. Tom Daschle responded, "Whew! Sounds like I dodged a bullet."

Fred, I'll agree with that. Good post.
Galen, now that is the most sensible thing Obama has ever said!
Obama is talking out of both sides of his mouth when it comes to being bipartisan and doing what he said he would do during the campaign. His approval rating is at 58%, already down 20 points from two weeks ago.

There it is, the answer is staring them in the face. All their finger-pointing points right back to them. But will they do it? No way!
Only 22% of the people believe this spending bill will help. He is not listening to the people. The worst thing Obama can do is talk down the economy and cause more fear and gloom. That is still the biggest factor in keeping the markets down.
