This reminds me of what I've read about the fall of the Roman Empire. Historians place the most blame on the Roman's lust for wild spending on luxuries and for nobody wanting to work anymore. It's sad, but true that the greatest nations get lazy and fall into decay and that is what we are seeing happen before our very eyes.
I'd meant to write more, but my daughter just got a visit from her boss. He gave her the rest of her wages due and said they couldn't afford to pay her, so in effect, she just lost her job. So I need to go--the shock is great!
