Aside from the rewards of your inner Christ some of you people believe in, what are the eternal rewards of your religion? Because people that don't claim religion have inner rewards in this life too. And if there's no eternal torment and inner rewards in this life for all walks of people, what does your religion offer?
Come on you people, what are you claiming against those that don't buy into your religion? And if you say our religion isn't going to torment and punish you, and we can find our own inner rewards without your help, why should we give you the time of day?
You know, I think a religion that at least had something to offer and avoid, like heaven and hell, would be more believable if one was religiously inclined.
I don't know what the purpose of these religions are that I have no reason to be corrected or chastised by. But I guess that's the whole lottery ticket of those religions.
Brent, I agree with what you are saying. This life is plenty for me to enjoy. I don't expect anything more after I die and that is not a burden to me. Just the random chance that I was born and am able to experience life is quite a jackpot, I think. For me to get all involved in the God talk seems rather useless since it can never be proven anyway. If there is a God like a lot of folks claim there is and if he is really as fair and just and loving as the believers say he is, then I imagine that he will respect my honesty.
I don't have a religion for you to follow like some people on this forum have ready for the TR's here, but I do have some spiritual things under my belt you might what to try. So I don't receive your statement "it can never be proven anyway".
