1."Graduated" from Holdi school.
2. Joined the Holdis.
3. Saw first movie at the movie theater. (Sudden Impact, starring Clint Eastwood.)
4. Kissed a girl for the first time.
5. Left the Holdis. (Glad I never went back.)
6 .Met future wife.
A lot happened in the eighties. For me it is a decade that holds nostalgia.

5. joined the h church. left h church 18 yrs later
6. experienced the purge or panel days
7. enjoyed music like CCR,Elton John,Nazareth,Supertramp,Alice Cooper
8. still remember where i was when i heard Elvis had died.
9. met my future wife
70s brings back memories some great and some not so great
1. holdeschool drop out - grade 8
2. drivers license
3. first drink - Labatt Blue
4. smoked my first cigarette - Player's
5. first movie. A very forgettable movie by Richard Pryor called 'Moving'. Memorable only because it was the first time in a cinema (the old Capitol on Smith St).
6. first NHL game (Winnipeg Jets vs. Quebec Nordiques at the old arena on Maroons Road).
7. first CFL game
8. dropped out of holdechurch.
9. experienced the residual fallout of the purge or panel days
10. enjoyed music like Def Leppard, Van Halen, Metallica
For me the 80s brings back both good and bad memories.
1. dropped out of high school - 3 days in Grade 12 - Made my Father cry.
2. drivers license
3. first drink. beer- tasted so bad I had to drink it quick!
4. first movie. I think it was the summer of 42
5. In the H church all of the 60`s I think
6. First car a VW
7. still remember where i was when i heard John f. K died
8. Worked for my future Father in Law
