The Rebublican party has had a few hard blows lately and this probably does not help the party. In that it is eventful.

She is such a maveric and so unconventional. She and McCain were like a horse and a carriage.

Since she is not perdictable it's hard to conclude what her real motives are.
She may be bailing out of politics altogether. Then she may be setting herself up for 2012 on the prim-time ticket. Or she may be headed for the Washington Senate seat from her state.

It seems to me that she has shown something less than wisdom if she's preparing early for a run for the Big House. What if she landed the White House and became a lame-duck President half way through her first four years and bailed? By bailing out on such terms the vice-president would be our President. Something awfully wrong about that if that were to occur. I am wondering, is there a provision in political law if it came down to that?

I conclude she must not be heading in the White House direction; on the other hand?

She is probably the most electable republican, and certainly the only front runner that would excite the passions of the right wing fundamentalists.

Bless her and may God lead her.

But the country is doomed for a huge fall for a few years, money is about to tank in value, tax rates are going to dive, and the country simply needs to "pull itself in" by spending less. The only way the government will ever use fiscal restraint however, is if the there is no choice. Given a choice, it will always simply print more money and spend it on the electors (voting citizens).

For that reason, until the US dollar is worthless and a new money becomes the standard, our system is doomed at least in my opinion.

When Ron Paul's ideas seems like the standard to achieve instead of the strange foreign and archaic policy, then prosperity will be on the way again! Till then, expect anarchy in the cities no matter who is in office expect high unemployment except in government jobs, and inflation that will make Carters years look like a picnic.
